<p>Social bookmarking is a method of storing, organizing, and searching web pages. It’s social because your vote helps to determine the popularity of the web pages – your vote and the votes of others. So not only are you able to help determine how a website ranks, you can also use this tool to help you find information that’s relevant and useful.</p>
<p>This is a great tool for internet marketers because if they get enough positive votes from the public, their value and exposure increases. </p>

<p>In order to submit to Digg, you must have an account. It’s free and you simply go to Digg.com and sign up for one. They require very little information. To make life easy, install the toolbar on your browser. Then you can submit to Digg with the click of a button. Digg does identify who submits a webpage or article so you can’t submit your own content anonymously but that’s okay. However there is one caveat and that is, you cannot submit all of your articles and pages because Digg will kick you out. However, submitting the new content on your site or the content that you think is particularly compelling or popular is a great way to drive traffic to your site. People will begin voting on your site, Digging it, and your popularity and exposure will increase.</p>
<p>#2  Amplify the results</p>
<p>The more Digg votes your pages receive, the higher they move in up the results and the higher up they are, the more people see them. This in turn drives traffic to your site and you know the rest.
